Start from the beginning. If you have trouble with pests, figure out what they’re eating. Pests enter homes when they find water, food, or shelter to use. Try to fill cracks, clean food sources and block entry to your house.

If you have a brown recluse spider infestation, control it using sticky traps. These spiders live deep where poisons can’t reach. When night falls, these spiders look for food. You can catch them with traps strategically placed behind furnishings and along the walls.

Food that is being stored must be sealed well. Food scents attracts many different kinds of insects. Further, once your trash fills up, make sure it is taken outside immediately. Pests love the smell of your garbage.
